Minutes of the inter chapter call held on 28th May 2011

Present: Smita, Sreekanth, Mitesh, Sam, Anil

• Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad to go ahead and for a core committee of volunteers. Please refer to the document sent in my previous email about the roles and the time involvement.
• There were concerns from the Hyd Chapter that there are no field partners in Andhra Pradesh. Given the current situation, it will be impossible for us to commit any field partnerships in Andhra Pradesh. During our last field visit a few weeks ago, we learnt from the borrowers that all MFI activity has come to a stand still. We will need to wait for some time to clear these issues.
• Idea about Rang De Box Office has been shared: Chapters can start screening films for which  we have already received rights. This will be a good way of getting people together.
• Inter-chapter call: The next call will be organised by Mumbai chapter on the last Saturday of the month.
